With Webstart you get exactly that — transparently priced, personally guided and at a clear fixed price from the Hildesheim region. No hourly billing, no subscription lock-in, no fine print.
What a relaunch renews, layer by layer
When does a relaunch make sense?
A website built five or more years ago typically no longer meets the standards visitors and search engines expect today. That applies equally to design, technology and usability. Studies show that more than half of mobile users leave a page that takes longer than three seconds to load or is difficult to use on a smartphone (Google/SOASTA Research). If your site falls into this category, you lose potential customers every day. A relaunch solves the problem at the root.
Broken mobile display
Text gets cut off, buttons are too small, images overflow the edge. On a smartphone the site leaves a poor impression. A relaunch fixes this at a fundamental level.
Slow loading times
Outdated technology, unoptimised images and obsolete scripts slow the site down. We build on a clean, lean foundation that loads quickly and does not test visitors' patience.
Outdated design
Designs that looked modern years ago now appear unprofessional. A fresh look instantly builds more trust and reflects how your business stands today.
Poor findability
If potential customers cannot find you on Google, revenue is lost. We incorporate fundamental SEO requirements into the relaunch so your new site gets found.
Missing HTTPS encryption
Browsers display a warning for unencrypted sites. That deters visitors. During the relaunch we set up SSL as standard, so your site is delivered securely.
Accessibility neglected
Older sites rarely meet today's accessibility requirements. We lay an accessible foundation during the relaunch – good for all visitors and increasingly required by law.
What an affordable Webstart relaunch includes
Our relaunch offer is aimed at small businesses, the self-employed, trades, clubs and practices that want to renew an outdated website on a clearly limited budget. The goal is not to make everything as elaborate as possible but to implement exactly what has impact: a clear design, a technically sound foundation and good findability. We carry over the content you already have, where it still works, and fill in what is missing. Why we work with fixed prices rather than hourly rates for this is explained in What Does a Website Cost? Fixed vs. Hourly.
Modern, clear design
We design your new site fresh, without unnecessary embellishments. The look reflects what your business is – credible, approachable and aligned with today's expectations.
Complete mobile optimisation
The new site works on every device. Whether smartphone, tablet or desktop, visitors experience a seamless, well-navigable view.
SSL encryption
HTTPS is not a luxury but a standard. We set up encrypted delivery so browsers show no warning and visitors can trust the site.
Basic SEO structure
Clean URL structure, correct heading hierarchy, meta descriptions and a clear page architecture so search engines can correctly categorise your content.
Redirects for existing URLs
To preserve existing links and search rankings, we set up redirects from old to new addresses before go-live. Your accumulated SEO value is kept intact.
Contact form
A spam-protected contact form so prospective customers can reach you directly, without workarounds via external services or outdated mailto links.
Google Business Profile
We review your existing Google Business Profile and align it with the new site so local search signals stay consistent.
Content transfer and preparation
Texts, images and structures that still work are moved into the new design. Anything outdated we update together with you following a clear principle.
Legal essentials
Imprint, privacy policy and cookie notice are part of every website. We check the basics and set up the required pages to current standards.
No fresh start without a reason
Relaunch: individual instead of an off-the-shelf template
Three ways to renew an outdated site — and why the guided fixed-price relaunch usually fits small budgets best.
Webstart relaunch
- A fixed price from €390 net, named clearly up front
- Individual design instead of a website-builder template
- 301 redirects, ranking value is preserved
- A personal contact from the region
- No lock-in, maintenance optional from €49 per month
Moving to a website builder
- A monthly subscription that keeps running
- Template design shared by many other sites
- Redirects and SEO preservation remain your job
- Support only via hotline or chat
Individual project, billed by effort
- Maximum freedom in design and functionality
- The scope grows with the requirements
- The budget is only fixed once the effort is
- A fit when the old site is very extensive
SEO preservation: the critical point in any relaunch
The most common mistake in a website relaunch is losing search engine rankings. This happens when page URLs change without redirects being set up, when important content is dropped or when the new site contains technical errors that put search engines off. In practice, websites after a poorly planned relaunch lose between 20 and 60 percent of their organic traffic (project experience), sometimes permanently. It does not have to be that way.
How we protect your search rankings
URL redirects and ranking preservation
Before the new site goes live, we record all important URLs from the old site and set up 301 redirects to the new addresses. Search engines then know where your content now lives and the accumulated ranking value is preserved.
- Inventory of all relevant old URLs
- 301 redirects set up before go-live
- Check for broken links and address typos
- Sitemaps and robots configuration for launch
We also ensure that all important page content is transferred correctly, the heading structure is logically built and meta descriptions are maintained. These are not secret ingredients but basic craftsmanship applied consistently during the relaunch. If you then have the site looked after with our ongoing maintenance, you retain long-term control over its technical condition.
The steps of a Webstart relaunch
A relaunch sounds like a big project, and the thought of it puts many people off. With us the process is clearly structured and tailored to the effort that makes sense for a fair fixed-price project. You do not need to learn about technology and will receive clear feedback at every step.
Analysis of your existing website
We look at your current site: what works, what no longer holds up, which content is worth carrying over and where technical or design weaknesses lie. You receive an honest assessment before we start. Free and without obligation via the contact form.
Concept and fixed-price proposal
Based on the analysis, we draw up a concept covering the scope of the new site, the navigation structure, the most important pages and the planned design. With that we give you a fixed price that covers the agreed scope.
Gathering and preparing content
We take texts, images and data from the old site and prepare them for the new design. Missing content we add together with you following a clear principle. We do not need perfect preparation on your part.
Design and technical build
The new site takes shape: mobile-optimised, with SSL, clean structure and all agreed functions. URL redirects, Google Business Profile and data-protection essentials are set up in parallel.
Review and revision round
You see the new site before launch and give feedback. One revision round is included in the fixed price. We adjust until the result truly fits you.
Launch and post-launch check
We take the new site live, verify redirects, loading times and display on various devices. On request we then take care of ongoing maintenance for 49 euros per month.

Which package suits your relaunch?
A relaunch is not a one-size-fits-all product. Depending on how many pages your current website has, what you want to show in future and whether you just want to renew the essentials or expand at the same time, different starting points make sense. Our pricing is guided by our proven packages, which we adapt to the relaunch requirements. Which pages should be preserved in any case is listed in The 5 Most Important Pages of Any Business Website.
Compact relaunch (Starter)
For websites that need a onepager: business card, contact, clear design. Based on the Starter package from 390 euros with relaunch additions such as URL redirects and content transfer.
Extended relaunch (Plus)
For sites with several topic areas: up to five pages, individual design, basic SEO setup from 590 euros. Ideal when you also want to improve the structure. Details in packages and prices.
Comprehensive relaunch (Complete)
For websites with a blog, industry or regional pages and up to ten pages from 990 euros. When the relaunch should be a complete rebuild on a modern foundation. More in packages and prices.
Not sure which package fits?
Relaunch or new build: the subtle difference
Sometimes the question arises whether a relaunch makes more sense than a complete new build. The answer depends on what is worth preserving from the old site. If your current domain has good local recognition, if there is content with ranking value or if you have already built inbound links from other sites, a careful relaunch that protects these assets pays off. If the old site is so technically outdated that carrying it over would cause more effort than benefit, we recommend a clean new start at the same fixed price.
- Your domain is well known and has inbound links – a relaunch preserves accumulated value
- Texts and content are current and good, only the design and technology are outdated
- You have built up search engine rankings you do not want to lose
- The structure of the old site is fundamentally sound and just needs modernising
- If none of these points apply, a clean new build can be the faster solution
What stays important after the relaunch
A new website is the starting point, not the destination. For the relaunch to have lasting effect, the site needs ongoing attention: security updates, backups, occasional content adjustments and checks that everything is still technically sound. This is not a big effort when done consistently, but if it is neglected, even the new site will age faster than expected.
Our optional maintenance and hosting package for 49 euros per month takes care of exactly that. Updates, backups, small changes and hosting on servers in Germany, cancellable at any time and without subscription lock-in. For businesses that do not want to do it themselves, this is the natural complement to the relaunch. If you want to expand your online presence in a particular direction, a landing page or a multilingual website can also be combined well.
